How many people can stay at the holiday home?
The holiday home can accommodate up to 8 adults and 2 toddlers aged up to 2 years. It offers three bedrooms, as well as a sofa bed in the separate living room.
Is the holiday home for exclusive use?
Yes. The holiday home and garden are entirely yours during your stay.
How many bedrooms and bathrooms are there?
There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The living room also has a sofa bed.
Is the holiday home accessible?
No. The holiday home is not wheelchair accessible and is spread over two floors. There is a staircase inside the house, and the entrance is reached via several steps.
Family holidays at Tannenblick
Is the holiday home suitable for families with young children?
Yes. Tannenblick is well equipped for families, with two travel cots, two highchairs, baby bedding, a changing mat, children's crockery and cutlery, as well as other useful equipment for younger children. For children up to 10 years old an additional chair bed can also be provided in one of the double bedrooms.
There are also books and games, along with various safety features.
Is there anything in the garden that families with young children should be aware of?
Yes. The garden is not fully enclosed. There is no fence along the road, although a dense stand of fir trees and the sloping ground provide a natural barrier. There is also a small garden pond, around 20 cm deep and approximately 1 m in diameter. Families with young children should take this into account when using the garden.
Can the living area be separated off for young children?
Yes. The ground-floor living area can be separated from the rest of the house with a built-in sliding door. This can be particularly useful when staying with young children.
Is an extra bed available for older children?
An extra bed can be provided by arrangement for children aged approximately 3 to 10.

Dogs at holiday home Tannenblick
Are dogs welcome at Tannenblick?
Yes. You can bring up to two dogs. The charge is €30 per dog per stay.
Dog walks start right outside the front door.
Are dogs allowed on the sofas or beds?
No. For hygiene reasons, dogs are not allowed on the beds or upholstered furniture. Please bring your dog's own blanket or bed.
Is the garden fully enclosed?
No. The garden is not fully enclosed, so dogs should not be left unattended outside.
Facilities and what’s included
What is included in the overnight price?
The price includes final cleaning, bed linen, two towels per guest, electricity, heating, Wi-Fi and use of the washing machine, including washing powder.
Basic household essentials such as washing-up liquid, coffee, tea, oil, vinegar and spices are also provided.
Do we need to bring our own bed linen and towels?
No. Bed linen and two towels per guest are provided and are included in the price.
Are everyday essentials provided?
Yes. To help you settle in and get your stay off to a comfortable start, we provide a few essentials, including toilet paper, shower gel, shampoo, soap, kitchen roll, washing-up liquid, a washing-up sponge and dishwasher tablets. Toilet paper is provided for the first 1–2 days.
You’ll also find some basic kitchen essentials, such as coffee, tea, cooking oil, vinegar and a selection of spices.
What equipment is available in the kitchen?
The kitchen is very well equipped for cooking and eating together. It includes an oven with integrated microwave, a dishwasher, a fridge and freezer, a coffee machine, kettle and plenty of crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils.

Yes. There is a charcoal barbecue (Weber Master Touch GBS E 5750) on the terrace, as well as a smoker. A fire bowl is also available in the garden, with firewood provided.

When can we arrive?
Check-in is from 3 pm on the day of arrival. An earlier check-in may be possible, depending on availability.
How does check-in work?
Check-in is easy and flexible using a key safe. You will receive the access details before your arrival.
What time do we need to check out?
Please check out by 10 am on the day of departure. A later check-out may be possible, depending on availability.
Is there parking at the holiday home?
Yes. There are three parking spaces on the property. Additional parking is available along the roadside.
Is smoking allowed in the holiday home?
No. Smoking is not permitted inside the holiday home. You are welcome to smoke outdoors, including on the terrace.

Where is Tannenblick located?
The holiday home is in a quiet residential area on the edge of Rochlitz, in the Rochlitz Muldental region of Saxony. The house is surrounded by countryside, while Rochlitz town centre and local sights are within easy reach.
How far away are restaurants and food shops?
In Rochlitz itself, you’ll find a good selection of restaurants, cafés and shops.

Is Tannenblick a good base for exploring Saxony?
Yes. Thanks to its central location in Saxony, Tannenblick is also an ideal base for longer stays and day trips. Leipzig, Chemnitz, Zwickau and Dresden, as well as other parts of Saxony, are all within easy reach.
The Ore Mountains (Erzgebirge) and Saxon Switzerland (Sächsische Schweiz) are also great destinations for a longer day trip.

What are the best places to visit around Rochlitz?
The area around Rochlitz offers a wonderful mix of nature, culture and plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities and relaxation.
Explore Rochlitz Castle, Kriebstein Castle, Rochsburg Castle and Colditz Castle. Numerous hiking trails start right from the house. Popular routes include walks around Rochlitzer Berg, along the River Mulde and through the surrounding woodland.
The Rochlitzer Muldental is also one of Saxony’s most scenic areas for cycling. The popular Mulderadweg cycle route runs directly through Rochlitz and connects many of the region’s attractions and places of interest.
What can we do with children around Rochlitz?
The surrounding area offers plenty of family-friendly attractions and activities – from nature and wildlife experiences, theme parks and railway adventures to castles, palaces and fun in the water.
Are there castles and palaces nearby?
Yes. Rochlitz Castle, Kriebstein Castle, Rochsburg Castle, Colditz Castle, Gnandstein Castle, Frohburg Palace and Mildenstein Castle are among the historic attractions in the wider area.

Wellness & pool house
Is there a pool or wellness area at the holiday home?
The holiday home itself does not have a swimming pool. However, you can optionally make use of the wellness pool house on the neighbouring property.
It is located approximately 30 metres from the holiday home. The pool house is available exclusively for your group and is not shared with other guests.
What does the wellness pool house offer?
The wellness pool house features an indoor swimming pool with a counter-current system, a hot tub for up to 6 people, a steam room for 2 people and a pool table. There is also a small kitchen and a WC.
How can the wellness pool house be booked?
The wellness pool house is not included in the price of the holiday home and can be booked optionally for one or more days. The price is €200 for one day and €150 for each additional day.
Booking, payment and all arrangements are handled directly with the pool house operator.

Booking & prices
How many nights is the minimum stay?
The minimum stay is 2 nights.
Different minimum stays apply during peak season, on public holidays, over New Year and selected dates.
How much does a night at Tannenblick cost?
Prices start at €170 per night for 2 guests from Sunday to Thursday.
For Friday and Saturday, the base rate is €230 per night for 2 guests.
Each additional guest costs €15 per night. Toddlers aged 2 and under stay free of charge.
During the main season from June to August, the base rate is €200 per night for 2 guests, with a minimum stay of 4 nights.
Are electricity, heating and final cleaning included in the price?

Are there any additional charges for children?
Toddlers aged 2 and under stay free of charge. Additional guests are charged at €15 per night.
Can the holiday home be booked for longer stays?
Yes. Tannenblick is just as well suited to longer stays, family holidays and spending quality time together across generations. Its central location in Saxony makes it the perfect base for discovering different regions and cities, while allowing you to settle into one place and enjoy a relaxed stay without having to change accommodation.
How can I book the holiday home?
You can check availability and book directly through this website. If you have any questions before booking, you are also welcome to get in touch and make a no-obligation booking enquiry.
When you book directly, you pay our direct house rate. Prices on Airbnb and Booking.com may be higher due to the fees charged by those platforms.
Can I change or cancel my booking?
You can amend or cancel your booking at any time before your arrival. Depending on when you cancel, cancellation fees and conditions may apply.
Additional guests can be added at short notice. We charge €15 per additional person, per night. Please let us know before your arrival so that we can prepare enough towels and bed linen for everyone. Unfortunately, reducing the number of guests after your booking has been made is not possible.
