Just around 45 minutes from Leipzig, Chemnitz, and Zwickau, Holiday Home Tannenblick in Rochlitz is easily accessible by car, bus, and train. Thanks to its central and convenient location in Saxony, within the Chemnitz–Zwickau region and near Leipzig, it is ideal for guests from all over Saxony and visitors from Central Germany. Whether it’s a weekend getaway, visiting family, an active holiday, a family trip, a business stay, or a longer relaxation break – our quiet holiday home in Rochlitz is the perfect base for a relaxing escape in the countryside. Arrival by Car

The journey to our holiday home in Rochlitz is particularly convenient via the A72 motorway.

Via the A72 Motorway

From the South (Chemnitz):

• Take the A72 towards Leipzig, exit at Rochlitz

From the North (Leipzig):

• Take the A72 towards Chemnitz, exit at Rochlitz

After the exit, turn left towards Rochlitz on the B175.
After entering the town, the road goes downhill. At the end of the slope, turn sharp left onto Noßwitzer Weg.

From here, follow the directions under “Access via Noßwitzer Weg.”

Via Federal Roads B107 or B7
If arriving via the B107 or B7, follow the signs to Rochlitz (Saxony). Both roads lead directly into the town. Follow signs to B175 / Rochlitz Castle. At the B175 / Noßwitzer Weg junction, the direct access to our holiday home begins.

Final Approach – Noßwitzer Weg
Our holiday home is located in a quiet area and can be reached via Noßwitzer Weg (30 km/h zone):

• 650 metres straight ahead, passing a pond on the left

• Gentle right curve, then 270 metres uphill

• After dense fir trees on the left, you will reach the house, slightly hidden behind the trees

• At the slight left curve, turn left into the paved private driveway

Parking at Holiday Home Tannenblick

Three comfortable parking spaces are available directly at the house:

• One space directly in the driveway (ideal for reverse parking)

• Two more spaces at the end of the private driveway on the left: one under the carport, one on the open area in front

• Additionally, there is public parking on Noßwitzer Weg, directly on the property’s grass verge

In total, there are four convenient parking options – for stress-free arrival and a relaxed stay in Rochlitz.

Arrival by Bus and Train

Prefer public transport? No problem – our holiday home is also well accessible by bus and train.

• From Leipzig Main Station: RE6 to Geithain

• From Chemnitz Main Station: RE6 to Geithain

From Geithain:

• Bus 628 towards Waldheim/Geringswalde or Bus 629 towards Penig to Rochlitz Rathausstraße

• From Rathausstraße, it’s approximately a 1.8 km walk through Rochlitz Old Town past Rochlitz Castle – a scenic start to your stay

If the walk is too far, take Bus 626 from Rochlitz Rathausstraße towards Burgstädt to Noßwitzer Weg. From there, it’s only about 600 metres to the holiday home.

Travel times by bus/train:

• From Chemnitz: approx. 1 hr 15 min

• From Leipzig: approx. 1 hr 20 min

Arrival by Bicycle

Alternatively, the holiday home is also accessible by bike:

• From Geithain, a route of approximately 7.8 km leads through Wickershain, Strollsdorf, and Noßwitz to Rochlitz.

• This route is ideal for those who want to start their holiday actively and enjoy the local landscape, combining sustainable travel with a gentle, nature-inspired start to your stay in Rochlitz.
